Introduction to Algebra

    28th session

This course is designed for learners with a strong foundation in prealgebra who are seeking a more in-depth, comprehensive, and challenging alternative to a standard Algebra 1 curriculum. Using the chapters outlined in the Art of Problem Solving (AoPS) Introduction to Algebra book, this series will cover key concepts in algebra with a focus on advanced problem-solving techniques and critical thinking. Course Details: Start Date: August 20th, 2024 End Date: TBD Schedule: Two 60-minute sessions each week on Saturdays and Sundays. Content: We'll explore essential algebraic topics, diving deeper than typical Algebra 1 courses, and tackling problems that develop a strong mathematical foundation and problem solving skills. Each session, we will have conversations in French! This conversation practice will allow you to improve your speaking and listening comprehension skills, making you more comfortable with the French language overall. If there is anything specific you would like to review as well, such as preparation for the AP French Exam or grammar rules, just let us know! :)
