How to WIN Your Chess Games (Beginners Welcome!) ♟️♟️♟️
Starts
**IMPORTANT - Please have or make a Chess.com account prior to the session**
"Chess is a highly practical game played by humans, not computers" - CM Volen Dyulgerov (Witty_Alien). This is why it is so much more effective to have a human coach rather than just pressing Chess.com's game review and looking at your games for a minute. Reviewing your games, especially ones you lost, are an extremely effective way to improve your chess and win more games.
This series is highly adaptive to wherever you are at. It's pretty informal and could be considered more of a club than a class. The session will open with a short activity/warmup, which may be something like a puzzle to solve. Depending on everyone's abilities, the session may cover simpler topics, such as how to play, how to checkmate, or opening principles. If those who join know the basics of chess, we can pair each of the attendees against each other and then do an in-depth analysis of the games afterwards. I am definitely open to any suggestions, so feel free to make them!
