About

Hello everyone! My name is Nolan and I'm stoked to help you all get better at Math for the SAT! I'm a high-school junior with a 770 math SAT score and I have been tutoring math at Mathnasium for a few months now, so hopefully I can use those skills to effectively communicate how to improve your SAT math game!

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Hey everyone, I'm Nolan! I'm a high school junior who likes to swim🏊‍♂️, play chess♟️ (I'm around 1600 online), and solve Rubik's cubes (I used to be top 3 in the state🥉). I am currently taking AP Calculus BC and I tutor math at my job with Mathnasium. I scored 770 math and 750 English first try on the SAT and got a 1510/1520 on the PSAT. The more time I spend helping people with their school, the more I love doing it. You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You’ll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will wrap up with a Post-Test to help you see your progress from the first session.
