By assigning roles and having students read the lines of various characters in rapid succession, she ensured every participant had multiple opportunities to speak and practice conversational English in pairs or small groups. The tutor used a unified voting system to select the final dialogue topic, maintaining student participation and control over the lesson's content. She was highly attentive during the reading exercises by stopping immediately after each dialogue to provide specific and providing targeted feedback on pronunciation and contractions.
