Hello, my name is Colston! I'm a high school student from Northern California, and I love helping others learn. Tutoring is the best way to learn, after all. If you really understand a topic, you can break it down into simple terms and concepts.

Outside of academics, I play euphonium in both marching and concert band, which means I have an intermediate level of music theory knowledge. I also enjoy skiing and exploring intro-level coding. I'm always looking to challenge myself.

Despite not explicitly engaging the learner at every time, the tutor was successful in bringing out the learner's engagement as the learner continuously spoke his thought process out loud. The tutor effectively used questions such as "Why do you think that is?" to make the learner explain their thinking. In regard to encouraging students to explain their thinking, the tutor is very advanced.
