About

Hi there! I'm a high school student who has a 1550 SAT and a 36 ACT. I have taken AP Calculus BC, AP English Language, AP Chemistry and AP World History. Feel free to contact me to help with improving your scores and/or academic skills. In my free time, I love to play golf and learn about the environment (I'm a big biology buff 😁).

Reading and Writing for the August 2025 SAT®

Saturdays 1:30 PM, Sundays 1:30 PM

Hey guys! I'm Luke, and as a 770 R&W SAT scorer, I'll help guide you through all the twists and turns of the R&W section of the SAT and tell you tips that'll help you ace that exam, from guidelines on studying vocabulary to step-by-step explanations on complicated grammar questions that you'll need to solve in minutes! Hope you will join me on this 4 week trip to success. 😁 This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

I noticed that Luke's learner is always comfortable to ask questions when in need of help which proves Luke maintains a kind and open learning environment.

You always sought to answer any questions that arose during the session. You answered in a way that was super concise yet informative, which allows the student to understand more deeply to content. For questions that you believed she was confident in and did well in, you allowed her to practice those on her own, and you checked them. Awesome job!

Great job! You helped your learner in your session with their questions about trigonometry and parabolas. Your environment is well established with a friendly greeting and an activated camera. A friendly face can make learning easier for learners as they will have a stronger tutor-learner connection with a more comfortable attitude toward a teacher with a face, not a name. Keep up the great work!

You are very attentive to signs of confusion or hesitation and took the time to ask clarifying questions when the learner seemed stuck, which helped him feel supported rather than rushed. This made a big difference in staying engaged.
