One-week Road to a Near-Perfect Score in R&W!!

    Ended Mon, Feb 24, 2025

For seven days, I'll do my best to help you improve your score up to 750+. I'll do that using multiple practice questions and tests. In the process, I'll share the top tips and strategies I've used to get a 790 as an INTERNATIONAL student. We'll cover Standard English Conventions, Command of evidence, sense and purpose, rhetorical synthesis, and much more!!! This is the sequel of a very, VERY long series that was held many times since June 2024. All were very successful. Countless learners have told me that, after the series. they took a practice test on Bluebook and scored 750+ on the R&W section. Before the series, their highest scores had been <600! I'm sure that you too will improve your own score -- and in the process, I'll keep the learning interactive and funny! (Trust me, super mario is my thing! I'm Italian, after all)

Schoolhouse Fall MUN 2024 - INTERPOL Committee

    Ended Sun, Nov 17, 2024

Welcome to the INTERPOL Committee sessions of the Schoolhouse Fall Model United Nations 2024! Schoolhouse MUN is an online Model United Nations event organized by a team of volunteers from schoolhouse.world. Delegates will have the opportunity to represent different countries in five distinct committees of the United Nations. This experience will enhance their understanding of current world issues and improve their public speaking, collaboration, and leadership skills. Agenda: Countering Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery Developing international strategies to combat human trafficking networks and provide support to victims. Chairs: Anshu P and Luca G Overview of the Committee’s Agenda: In 2017 alone, an estimated 40.3 million people fell victim to modern slavery—an alarming reality that many are unaware of. Smugglers prey on those yearning for a better life, manipulating their dreams and snatching away their freedom in the process. Today, an unimaginable number of children have been reduced to commodities. In certain areas of Africa and the Mekong region, children make up half of all trafficking victims. In West Africa, that figure soars to a staggering 100%. These lucrative crimes thrive on the vulnerability of the most susceptible, benefiting the cruelest among us. The International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) was established to address similar transnational issues. While INTERPOL is not a law enforcement agency itself, it plays an essential role in facilitating global police cooperation and supporting law enforcement to combat human trafficking and modern slavery. As delegates, it is your responsibility to explore how, why, when, and to what extent INTERPOL can and must act. Engage in vigorous discussions, challenge each other's perspectives, and ask those hard-hitting questions. Through assertive diplomacy and united action, you have the power to confront one of our world’s most pressing and heart-wrenching issues. Are you ready to rise to this pivotal challenge? Main Series: [https://schoolhouse.world/series/28597](https://schoolhouse.world/series/28597) Please note that each delegate must attend a minimum of three committee sessions to be eligible for a participation certificate. You are also welcome to join as an audience member! We look forward to your participation!
