For our first session, we will go over what makes an effective piece of writing. First, we will define what analytical and argumentative writing is. Then we will analyze the methods used by writers to make good arguments, and what strategies did not work as well. By the end of the session, the learners will have an effective introduction to analytical writing- which we will build upon in the next sessions.
