After explaining a couple of slides, the tutor asks the learners a question. When nobody replies, she calls on a specific learner to participate. This was done very effectively, and even though the learner got the answer wrong, the tutor didn't say so immediately; instead, she asked the learner, "why do you think it's a segment?" so they could explain their thinking. In the end, she didn't have to directly correct the learner, and instead the learner found out through her skillfully guided questions. After that, another learner participates and she addresses them by their name. Keep up the good work! :)
