Two-sample t test for a difference in means Day 3 - χ²: 9. χ² goodness of fit test 10. χ² test for homogeneity 11. χ² test for independence Day 4 - slope (+ final review): 12. t interval for a slope 13. t test for a slope Target Audience: This series is meant for students who have a foundational grasp of stats but struggle with test selection and the nuances of conditions. About Me: I am a high school junior who took AP Statistics last year and scored a 5 on the AP exam (in fact . . . I think I got everything correct on the exam, save one MCQ--about inference conditions! Ugh). I'm really passionate about statistics and excited to tutor! For You: Before the series starts, please DM me your name, experience with stats, and which tests you're comfortable with and which you'd like extra help on. This will help me prepare my slides better and give you a more targeted lesson. Thanks :)

Reading and Writing for the August 2024 SAT

Mondays 6:00 PM, Thursdays 6:00 PM

Heya, I'm Shriya! I'll be your tutor this SAT bootcamp for the Reading and Writing section. I love programming, art, music, and debating the meaning of existence; I'm also a sprinter and avid cricket-enjoyer. I'm very interested in foreign affairs, traveling, and meeting people from different cultures, so I'm excited about this opportunity to tutor people globally! This is my fourth SAT Bootcamp, and while I may be a freshman, with a perfect score on the R&W section of the SAT--1570 total--trust me, you're in good hands :D This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You'll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it's a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can't have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.
