Ryan, I have loved learning and reviewing with you over these last two weeks. You have a great personality, and good teaching skills. See you around schoolhouse.

Thank you so much for your guidance and encouraging words. My symphony will be the best one you've ever heard!

Learner · 14 days ago

At the rate of your dynamic teaching, it'll be the nations you're reaching!

Learner · 15 days ago

Thanks Ryan! You are in the best position to teach us to write compositions!

Learner · 17 days ago

You definitely adjusted to learners when they asked questions in the session by answering them! You tried to understand each learner's question, shown in your comprehensive answers. Impressively, you also managed to get back on track after each of these. Amazing job!

Yes! That, I believe, is the only answer to all of these peer review boxes, but I'll try to be more verbose. You definitely knew and understood the material you were teaching on such a deep level, but on top of that you also knew how to explain and break it down for your students using comedy, questions, and references to other things. Being able to do that shows not only that you knew the material, but also that you prepared to teach it to someone with less knowledge than you. There also weren't any technological hiccups and I loved that instead of using zoom's whiteboard (which can be hard to use for some learners), you used one behind you.

Another masterclass by Ryan Mozart! Thank you for the signatures lesson!

Ryan, this first session was electric 🎸! Your energy was off the measures 📈. And who says there's no money in music 🫰🏽, for you😤? You know so much🤯! Just remember when you get the 🏆World's Greatest Musician 🎶 and Theorist 🎼 award 🏆, that I called it first!

Ryan praised correct answers and encouraged participation. To improve, he could highlight more specific achievements or improvements from individual students. The session felt relaxed and fun. Ryan's use of humor and casual conversation made it easy for students to ask questions and share thoughts. The "Hero Brian" character was a cool touch that made the lesson more enjoyable. Overall, Ryan's teaching style is engaging and informative. To improve, he could focus more on checking understanding throughout the lesson and providing more specific feedback to students. But his creative approaches and deep knowledge of the subject make for an interesting and effective lesson.

Thank you :)

Ryan does a great job in his tutoring session! He is very friendly and interactive in the beginning of the session. He is fun, conversational, and obviously enjoys making the session as interesting and engaging as possible. He is greatly prepared, infusing different types of review into his session, such as the Quizlet he plays with Vedaa. It seems like it is easy for Ryan to stray off topic, however, which may be seen as a good thing depending on different perspectives. It seems like both Veeda and Harshita were enjoying this, so it really isn't that much of a problem!

Learner · 1 yr. ago

Amazing job fostering a comfortable learning environment! I loved your unique icebreaker questions, and it was clear that it was a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone in the meeting. It really stood out to me that within a few minutes of the session, one of the learners said "Such a friendly environment already", in reference to the fun questions, and another learner said that the session was going great! I also really liked that you incorporated interactive games, such as the GimKit, to help everyone get to know each other and feel more comfortable in the session. Overall, both of you were incredibly kind and approachable, and you created such a fun environment. Great job you two!

Yay! What can I say? These last two weeks have been a blast. I dug into composing, got my hands wet with music theory, have an excellent workbook for reference, and can anything less be said about your awesome interactive teaching talent? Thank you for the time in putting this course together, it was really fun! Oh, and this session got me to 1000 SP, so thank you so much!

Learner · 13 days ago

Thank you for setting us on our composition path, your aura and jokes always make us laugh!

Learner · 15 days ago

Thank you so much, this session was so much fun. Even though I've been playing instruments for years, I've never tried to write anything, so it was lovely trying for the first time. Thanks again!

Learner · 16 days ago

Thanks a ton as always! Rlly love ur energy in every session. And shout-out to you for having the most unique bedroom decor.

Learner · 17 days ago

I love that you started your session by greeting each of your learners by name, then having conversations with them! I could see that you had already created a community within your series by talking with your learners at the beginning, and throughout. I also loved your icebreaker at the beginning! It was a fun way to get your students into a musical mood while also continuing to create a space where they felt comfortable talking. They also obviously felt comfortable asking questions as a result of this community you created.

Tutor · 21 days ago

You are a very fun tutor to learn from! I like how you kept a friendly, personable tone throughout the session.

Ryan often asked students what they remembered from previous lessons, like about the Altai Mountains. He could improve by doing a quick recap at the start to see what everyone already knows about the Mongols. Ryan was good at explaining things in different ways, like using the crayon analogy. He also answered questions well. To improve, he could check more often if everyone is following along, especially during longer explanations. Ryan did a great job keeping everyone involved. He asked lots of questions, had students read slides, and used fun elements like the "Hero Brian" character. This kept the lesson interesting and interactive. While Ryan often asked if there were questions, he could do more to check if students really understood the material. Maybe adding quick quizzes or having students summarize key points would help.

Ryan makes a couple of references and analogies throughout the session. For example, he references the Avengers, and makes a comparison between the Greeks and Egyptians. These comparisons seemed to work very well in assuring students' understandings.
