About

I'm a rising high school senior from Texas in the United States. I'm here to share my knowledge and experience in math, which is my passion. This summer, I'm preparing for various math and computer science competitions like the AIME and USACO, and working on neuroscience research. Aside from these, I also compete in Science Olympiad, Science Fair, Debate, FTC Robotics, and DECA.

I like to give back to the world by coaching middle schoolers in competitive mental math, as well as by tutoring here. I believe that free, high-quality education is a human right, which is why I'm a tutor on Schoolhouse :)

Of course, there is still a lot that I don't know, and although I hope to pass on some of my knowledge, I'm here to hopefully add to it as well.

I want to help everyone feel confident in their subjects, be it math, computer science, physics, chemistry, biology, the SAT, and beyond - if you have any questions at all, or need any support in these topics, I am always happy to help you out!

Math for the August 2025 SAT®

Thursdays 11:30 PM, Fridays 11:30 PM, Sundays 11:30 PM

Hi! My name is Piyush, and I'm here to help you improve on the SAT using my experiences with test-taking. Looking forward to tutoring you all! This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

I love this session and very simple!

Piyush, your willingness to review the concepts as per request of the learners, was a great way to keep the learners involved. You created a very encouraging environment for the learners to keep trying the problems while asking for clarifications. Reviews Physics concepts as requested by learner was really helpful to the learners. It seems that you cared about the learners to learn and grow. Great work!

Piyush - Great work on hosting the session! I am impressed with your knowledge about the topic and how well you explained all the concepts when the learner made mistake in answering or were confused. Your willingness to review Physics concepts for the learner who has not studied Physics earlier. Appreciate your reviewing the concepts to help Lerner understand the concepts. I liked how you explained each question so well with the rule/concept that can be used to solve it. Excellent work!!

At the beginning of the session, you asked the learners about their prior knowledge of derivatives, checking their understanding of the topic. When a learner got the answer wrong, you understood where they got that answer and then helped direct them to solve it again which was great!
