Join this nomenclature session to learn how to name chemical compounds (binary ionic with and without transition metals, ionic with polyatomic ions, covalent, acids, and alkanes)! This session is suitable for learners from an AP Chemistry or high school chemistry course. Please come to the session with a periodic table. The slide decks will also be shared with learners for future reference! Prerequisites: learners should already be able to locate metals, metalloids, and nonmetals on a periodic table, and identify the charges of elements when they become ions based on their positions in the periodic table. 🧪
