Join a virtual Dialogue Club with Palash and Hao Ran to form a community with students from around the world. Dialogue Clubs meet every other week to discuss a new topic. By participating in 3+ Dialogue sessions, you will get a Dialogues portfolio you can submit with your college applications to our university partners.

This series is design for helping Mina's SAT score; however, this is not limited for only Mina (due to schoolhouse.world policy. Each week we will choose a focus skill within one domain, and then rotate the domain each week. HW and practice is required for maximum effectiveness. Remember, I am a human as well. This is not a video lecture; it is a study session with a tutor who might make mistakes. Anyways, feel free to join. :D

Here’s some helpful information to help you prepare for your session: 📌 Session introduction: At the start of the session, the event host will provide some introductory remarks about how the session will work and tips for discussion. 🧩 Discussion partner matching: All participants will be matched with a conversation partner to discuss with. If there are uneven numbers, you may have two conversation partners. 🤝 Breakout discussions: After the session introduction, everyone will switch to their breakout discussion. Your discussion will be unmoderated, so you can start when your partner arrives in the new Zoom link. 🗺️ Discussion Guide: You will have a topic-specific discussion guide for the session to help guide conversation. ⏰ Session length: The breakout discussions are scheduled for 45 minutes but you can discuss as long as you want! ✅ Stay on topic: Please make sure to stay on topic. If you and your partner run out of things to discuss, it’s okay to end the discussion early. You will not be returning to the main group when your conversation is over. 🤔 Make the discussion your own: You probably won’t have time to answer all the guide questions so pick and choose! Feel free to also bring in your own questions and ideas outside of the guide. 📝 Survey: A mandatory survey will appear at the end of your session to fill out. This must be filled out for you to get credit for the session in your Dialogues portfolio. 🤸‍♂️ Have fun: There is no preparation needed for this event. I am a fairly new tutor in schoolhouse as well; however, I did finish a few bootcamps and peer reviews and have some experiences in tutoring outside of schoolhouse. So hopefully, I know what I doing in this session. I am currently a junior in a Georgia Public School. I love math, and something prefer to read historical book than going outside to have a party. I am a introvert indeed, but speaking and helping others isn't too much for me. Join this Onboarding Session required for Tutors participating in their first SAT Bootcamp! FIRST EDITION OF THE SERIES DESCRIPTION: Please look through the sessions that is planned for this series, and read this through. However, I do want a disclaimer here: I wouldn't be able to access the current Calc BC AP classroom resources, so the notes and course plan might be outdated. I would host irregular but weekly sessions for a group practice session and Multi-Calc look-through. If there are 10 or more of you guys attending this series, I would make this fix at a schedule that most of us would be comfortable with. This would be a great time to ask questions, or update me on new topics that you guys would want me to cover. For the time being, I wouldn't start the RUSH until there is at least a small amount of consistent learners who are interested to be here. Please wait patiently as I do want to make sure that a least a portion of the majority would benefit from the RUSH. If (in the future) there is another host for this series, I would then maybe make the RUSH to occur biweekly, making the practice sessions as an addition to the RUSH.
