I like how you adjusted the difficulty of the practice problems based on if the learner thought the problems were difficult or not. I also like how you were willing to help the learner whenever they weren't sure about a problem. You weren't afraid of taking a problem slower to make sure they fundementally understood the principles behind it. You also did great with providing alternative solutions to the learner whenever they asked. It shows that you're able to adapt to the multiple ways people find it easy to solve these problems.

One of the best sessions I've ever had. The bootcaamp gets more engaging the more I participate. Volunteering for the questions and seeing other learners volunteering for my questions to explain them to me was really sweet^^ Also thanks to our amazing tutor who makes the session wonderful as always!

Rather than directly give her the answer, you provided her the means to discover the answer on her own and when she did you praised her. Excellent!

I genuinely want to say that my tutor is really passionate, kind, and dedicated for us to learn the content. He literally would go through each question one-by-one, which is amazingly helpful -- I just wish if he could better pace himself for explaining each question, so we don't waste valuable studying time. But, this session was everything I wished for and more!

I like the tips you gave for reading through the questions and underlying information after variables. This is great for allowing the learner to identify the important information quickly. I can tell you have a lot of good knowledge over solving SAT questions and how to effectively work through them. You did great with using Desmos in the problems. Perhaps you could show ways of using Desmos in every problem in which it would be useful for to show the learner how effective it can be. I also like your visual explanations of the greater/less than sign as being similar to pacman. This can help the learner associate the symbol with something they can visualize. You also did great with using the whiteboard to draw out your thoughts for the learner to see. If possible, you could also have the learner draw on the screen to show their thought process.

Thank you for the session! Above everything else, I appreciated the patience exhibited by my tutors this discussion. Even though this was my first Dialogues session, I had no issues with understanding the way the session would be run. The discussion points and sample questions provided were also very insightful, and allowed conversation to flow between my partner and I.

Han Rao has all the good quality of the tutors in my learner perspective. He does a good job explaining the hard questions, cheers up for the learner when they get the question correct, reassures them "It's okay to make mistakes, the more you make! the more you learn!" when they get it wrong. He is 15 minutes earlier, willing to help us if we have any question and even after the session may ends, he still volunteers or does Office hour to help us :D Also he shares us his own source of SAT Prep. (like a vocab list) So I think he deserves the highest ratings among other tutors :)

Yes, there are many examples. However, the most prominent is at the end of the session 1:28:30 where the learner is extremely grateful going as far as to say that she is very grateful to have you as a tutor on schoolhouse and that you are one of her favorites! Hans keep up the good work!
