It was clear that your learner was struggling with the homework problems at hand, but you did an excellent job enforcing certain rules about Algebra and using the past problems you solved with the learner as an example on how you solve problems later down the line. You stayed patient, and considerate by letting them know it was ok to make mistakes. Your learner was often stumped by certain problems but you didn't let it seem like the end of the world with a assuring "That's ok."

You did a fantastic job confronting your learner regarding their explanations with how they got certain answers. It was great how you didn't immediately shut down their response and judge it for being wrong, but instead you took it slow, and got your learner thinking about what they might've done wrong and how they could've approached the question differently. You kept your learner on your toes without taking any unnecessary breaks and stayed consistent with your pace. Additionally, you let your learner take the lead on most of the homework problems with you remaining as a guide to steer him in the right direction by using great follow-up questions like ("Ok, what would happen if we add 17?").

Your method of explanation and tone was very consistent, slow, and soft which allowed the learner to adjust perfectly and make them feel as if they were in an environment where it was ok to make mistakes. As the learner become increasingly confident, you used positive language to enforce their motivation, and get them to feel they're making progress, which they were.

Throughout this session, I could see that you were definitely very well-versed and experienced at Equations and Inequalities. You dived right in to the content without wasting any time, and you used clear and concise explanations to clarify how to solve these problems to your learner. You managed to adjust your pace with the learner's as the session progressed and you were able to relate your explanations of certain questions to past questions you and your learner had already done. For example, around the 18:05 mark, you were able to connect your explanations with question 6 to question 11 to explain how to convert from -w to w. It was segments like these in your video where I saw your preparedness to be patient and considering with your learner.
