This series will be in TWO PARTS. These sessions comprise the second part. Each week, we will go over an interesting topic in neuroscience. After gaining a solid understanding of neuroscience concepts, these sessions will mainly focus on neuroscience disorders and cutting-edge research with practical impacts. Each session will have a fun interactive component :) NOTE: it is RECOMMENDED for you to register for Introduction to Neuroscience (I), as being aware of foundational concepts will help your understanding of neurological disorders and research. However, if you cannot join the first part for whatever reason, don't be discouraged to join this series -- you'll still find the content accessible and engaging!

This series will be in TWO PARTS. These sessions comprise the first part. Each week, we will go over an interesting topic in neuroscience. These topics will progress from the basic mechanisms of neurotransmission, thinking, and learning, to understanding different states of the brain such as sleep and attention. Each session will have a fun interactive component :)

We will cover all major topics in the AP Psychology class: neuroscience, cognition, developmental psychology, learning, social psychology, personality, clinical psychology, and health. We will go over the major concepts, key people, and important experiments, and we will spend the last week before the exams to share some exam tips and do Pomodoro study time. You will be expected to listen to your peers; even though we encourage you to share what you know with your peers, it's OK if you don't feel very comfortable speaking up yet!

Each week, we'll go over one topic related to number theory that you need to master to prepare for your Edexcel GCSE Mathematics (Higher) exam. The content aligns with Unit 1: Numbers of the Pearson GCSE textbook. Topics we'll cover include indices, surds, standard form, place value, HCF & LCM, word problems, and more. We will also be providing a wide variety of systematically designed and tiered practice problems and helpful test-prep strategies by evaluating authentic student answers to help you master the content and prepare more effectively for your GCSE exam. You are expected to understand the absolute number theory basics required for the Higher GCSE course. Don't worry if you don't feel 100% about a topic, because we'll go over it very thoroughly. As this is a highly group-based revision session, be prepared to actively participate and apply your knowledge to a range of flexible practice problems. Please always have a pencil/pen, a piece of paper, and your calculator ready to work.
