Thank you for explaining new concepts! It helped a lot!

You were both quick to adjust based on how the session was going. When Anish noticed some learners used Desmos, he acknowledged it as a helpful tool but also explained when to avoid relying on it too heavily (e.g., “Desmos might be kind of counterproductive” for pattern-based questions). Later, when Abigail said her method led to a negative number, Anish reassured her that a negative slope was expected and explained why that made sense given the context. These moments showed you were listening to learners’ responses and were ready to clarify or offer another route when needed.

Thank you for this session! I learned a lot more!

Learner · 8 days ago

Anish regularly paused to check for understanding (“So Zach, do you, Zach or Celeste? Do you get it?”) and invited learners like Celeste and Ananda to share their explanations, which helped reinforce key ideas. When Ananda explained her method for finding the slope of a perpendicular line, Anish affirmed her process step by step. You both encouraged participation through warm-ups, guided problem solving, and asking learners to respond via thumbs up or private message. Avinash also kept learners involved during his portion by typing problems in the chat and offering time to work through them. These touches helped make the session feel interactive without putting pressure on anyone.
