About

Hi, I'm Aditi! I'm a high school student who loves STEM! From calculus to chemistry to robotics — I love learning about real life applications, solving challenging problems, and making exciting connections between subjects. Besides STEM, I also love reading fiction + fantasy and playing the violin.

At Schoolhouse, I’m here to learn, explore, help others, and meet people who are curious and passionate about learning like me :)

You were highly attentive to Desmond's thought process. When he struggled with the core challenge of the problem (dealing with both x and y), you didn't just tell him the answer. You offered hints ("We also have this original equation over here") and gave him time to think before gradually scaffolding the solution. You also adapted your own approach by suggesting to multiply through by 8 to eliminate fractions, which simplified the algebra.

Thank you for the session! I appreciate further explanations to make sure I understand.

You created an incredibly supportive and collaborative environment. Your tone was patient and encouraging. You normalized the difficulty of the problem ("that's understandable, because I also kind of... struggle with this problem at first"). The session ended with Desmond successfully solving a complex problem, which is a huge confidence booster. Your final check for understanding ensured he left with clarity.
