AP Calculus: Challenge Problems + Strategy (Units 1-4) Starts Mon Sep 15, 10:30 PM This series is all about learning the foundations of AP Calculus strategically and having fun while doing it!
In this series, we’ll:
🔹Have short, focused 30-minute sessions (usually weekdays, but we can adjust if needed)
🔹Start each session with a quick review of the key concepts for that day’s problems
🔹Tackle 1–2 challenging, multi-step AP-style problems — both independently and collaboratively
🔹Walk through solutions step-by-step, discussing strategies and tips
🔹Cover all major topics in Units 1–4 (of both AB & BC, since these units are the same for both!)
This series is designed to:
🔹Help you stay consistent and avoid stress
🔹Give you active practice to strengthen your problem-solving skills in AP Calc
🔹Be interactive, collaborative, and genuinely fun!
What you’ll need for success:
🔹A strong foundation in Pre-Calculus (functions, trig, algebra, basic limits)
🔹Be taking AP Calc (at school, self-study, or on Khan Academy) — this series is meant to supplement your learning, so it's not a comprehensive course
🔹Pencil and paper (a notebook is great!) to work through problems
🔹Graphing calculator or Desmos
🔹A willingness to share your approach, discuss strategies, and ask questions
