I mentioned it in above sections, but I really like how you always call on learners by name to solve problems. It keeps the session in a comfortable environment while both maintaining engagement and giving the learning a more personal feel. You also did well to strengthen confidence. There were very few mistakes, but where they happened you were careful to avoid discouragement and lead learners to the right answer without directly stating it. My only suggestion here would be to facilitate some more learner-to-learner interaction through comparing methods, but this is something more applicable to the Math section.

Engagement was pretty active and interactive, driven largely by student questions and complimented further by your immediate explanation of the solutions. You consistently modeled problem-solving using Desmos, clearly demonstrating the steps even when students had to prompt for the screen share. More importantly, you actively looked for and incorporated student answers to guide the solution (for example, Tanvi's answer to the geometry problem). You showed great espect for student knowledge and used effective checks for understanding, such as asking, "Any questions on that?", to ensure no one was left behind.

When the student asked how to approach vocab, you introduced the "put your own word here" strategy to avoid distractors. When explaining the challenging grammar rules, such as the complex list rule (Q8) and the use of transition words (Q9), you provided concrete examples (Bob, Sally, and Thomas playing instruments) or simplified rules (transition words need a comma) and clarified how those rules relate to non-essential phrases.

You created a highly supportive environment that was also fast-paced. Despite it being so fast, you made it a personalized learning atmosphere. A huge factor that lots of tutors miss is referring to the learners by their name, and you used the students' names frequently, checked on their understanding after key explanations ("Does anybody need a little more explanation, maybe?"), and encouraged them to interrupt you for corrections. Your tone was also consistently encouraging and you kept reinforcing the idea that mastery of these rules makes the test super easy, which is great to build motivation and help build confidence and comfort among the students.

I really like your slideshow! It has the proper amount of visual flair while conveying all the necessary information in a digestible and efficient manner. Your explanations were also very well done. For every problem, you tied the answer back into the underlying concept, like mentioning what the subject was for every question that required that. This method maintained a brisk pace without sacrificing proper review. My only suggestion here could be to discuss things that may cause people to trip up on these questions like prepositional phrases and the like.

Great demonstration on how you should be pacing yourself on the actual test. I like how he showed to do the first 6 questions and then jump to 16 to 27, because those are the grammar questions and you don't want to be wasting to much.

Siddharth, you demonstrated excellent flexibility by adapting both to the content (shifting from math to a reading question and then to grammar) and to technical difficulties. When the geometry problem became challenging and the setup was unclear, you accepted a student's suggestion for setting up the quadrilateral's perimeter equation. This shows your maturity in being able to incorporate student input within your explanations. Furthermore, the final 15 minutes were effectively adjusted to cover grammar rules after one of your students mentioned that they needed help over this. This successfully maximized the remaining meeting time by accommodating your student preference.
