Great job working on the screen with the learner throughout the session. That made it so much easier for them to follow along and understand. I thought it was especially helpful when you annotated on the practice problems. You’re clearly very knowledgeable in Biology and gave some really clear explanations! I also loved the part where you explained parasites using sushi and animal domains with real examples like chickens and crocodiles. It made everything super relatable and memorizable.

I think you did a fantastic job connecting with Damian. Asking him how his day was and naturally turning it into a comfortable conversation created such a warm environment. It really showed that you understood your student. You also did a great job praising him—saying things like “good job” when he got an answer right or was on the right track really encouraged him and built his confidence.
