About

Hello, I'm a high school senior from Pittsburgh and I'm passionate about learning and teaching STEM topics. I'm here to mostly help students with Math up to AP Calculus, Physics, and the SAT Math. I'm currently enrolled in 5 AP's: AP Psychology, AP Computer Science, AP U.S Govt & Politics, AP Calculus, and AP Physics all while maintaining a 4.0+ GPA. I'm involved in many STEM-focused activities (Robotics, Internships, Clubs, etc...). In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball, running, and volunteering for my school or community.

Math for the November 2025 SAT

Saturdays 10:30 PM, Sundays 10:30 PM

Want to raise your SAT Math score? In this bootcamp, we’ll tackle the most commonly tested concepts, practice real SAT-style problems, take on challenging practice tests, and master strategies to save time and avoid traps. By the end, you’ll not only be confident with the Desmos calculator but also ready to crush the SAT Math like a pro. Hello! I'm Samy and I'm thrilled to help students out with the SAT Math. As a returning SAT bootcamp tutor who scored in the 98th percentile on the SAT math, I’m excited to share everything I’ve learned to help you boost your score. I’ll guide you through the most important concepts, show you powerful test-day strategies, and make sure you feel confident walking into the exam. This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Great! When one of your learners was struggling with a question and making a very common mistake and she said that she didn't know how to do the question, you didn't force her to keep trying. I like how you decided to use that question to showcase a rule that learners may have not know beforehand. I like how you said that any learner should stop you and ask questions whenever they are confused. That is a good thing to say because learners might feel afraid to get the clarity they need when they are confused which can hold back their learning. Saying this makes sure that they won't feel that way and will be encouraged to get all they help they need when they need it. I really like how when learners say they don't know how to do something, you shift to not just solving the question, but to teaching them what they are missing.

Nice! One of the first things you made sure to do was that you had the correct pronunciation of your learners' names. That is a key step in creating a learning environment where your learners will be happy to be there and be tutored by you. Names are a form of connection and making sure you didn't get it wrong shows you are a tutor that cares about his learners' experience. I like how after your explanations of questions, you didn't just move on. You made sure to ask if everyone understood and was ready to continue. When you said you were going to call on your learners to participate, you emphasized that it is so you can fix any mistakes that they have which makes it less intimidating for them to speak up.
