About

I am a rising high school senior who intends to apply to college as a pure mathematics major. I deeply enjoy learning math and teaching it to younger students, hoping to instill the same love I have for the subject in them. I have taught my sister beyond her assigned coursework and tutored students at my district middle school!

Upcoming Sessions

AP Calculus Crash Course (All Units | Finals Study | AP Exam Prep) 📕

    13th session

In this series, we'll cover all of AP Calculus AB/BC and test knowledge with actual MCQ from the CollegeBoard practice exam. I took AP Calculus BC last year and earned a 5, and is one of my favorite classes of all time. If you're currently taking either AP Calculus and want some extra practice, please join!

Thanks for this session Yishaiahu! I initially joined because I wanted to see how people who are taking the AP Calculus BC class at their school are doing because I wanted to know more information as a freshman self studying for the AP Calculus BC exam. I think I am proficient enough for the exam, so I will be withdrawing from these sessions (which are great by the way). One suggestion I had was that you could maybe incorporate free-response questions (FRQs) from past years to practice. The exam is in four months, and I think people can really benefit from doing free-response questions, even though they aren't fully through their syllabus yet. You can do FRQs part by part, and ask people to share their thoughts while doing it. CollegeBoard offers a lot of past material if you just search up "AP Calculus BC Past FRQs". I personally used this a lot while self studying and it really helped me. Thanks for reading, and thanks for the sessions!

You consistently check for understanding and adjust your explanations based on verbal and non-verbal learner cues. You use creative strategies to re-engage learners who appear confused, and your pacing is well balanced, helping learners identify areas where they need more practice. As a next step, you could occasionally pause to explicitly confirm understanding before moving on to further strengthen learner confidence.

I liked this session because you provided lots of exercises that reinforced our skills and when we got the incorrect answer you acted in a supportive way to see where we went wrong and fill in those potential holes in our knowledge.
