Upcoming Sessions

Bioethics and Emerging Tech Dialogue Session

    Starts

Welcome to [Dialogues](https://schoolhouse.world/dialogues)! In this session, we will be discussing Bioethics and Emerging Technologies and using this [[discussion guide]](https://schoolhouse.world/redirect?code=eQmcr95pWfHHnNQfjswNO). Here’s some helpful information to help you prepare for your session: 📌 Session introduction: At the start of the session, the event host will provide some introductory remarks about how the session will work and tips for discussion. 🧩 Discussion partner matching: All participants will be matched with a conversation partner to discuss with. If there are uneven numbers, you may have two conversation partners. 🤝 Breakout discussions: After the session introduction, everyone will switch to their breakout discussion. Your discussion will be unmoderated, so you can start when your partner arrives in the new Zoom link. 🗺️ Discussion Guide: You will have a topic-specific discussion guide for the session to help guide conversation. ⏰ Session length: The breakout discussions are scheduled for 45 minutes but you can discuss as long as you want! ✅ Stay on topic: Please make sure to stay on topic. If you and your partner run out of things to discuss, it’s okay to end the discussion early. You will not be returning to the main group when your conversation is over. 🤔 Make the discussion your own: You probably won’t have time to answer all the guide questions so pick and choose! Feel free to also bring in your own questions and ideas outside of the guide. 📝 Survey: A mandatory survey will appear at the end of your session to fill out. This must be filled out for you to get credit for the session in your Dialogues portfolio. 🤸‍♂️ Have fun: There is no preparation needed for this event. These conversations are meant to be casual, in addition to being meaningful. We hope you enjoy it!

Thank you so much! Your explanation was incredibly helpful and clear, I learned a lot from it.

You created a comfortable learning environment by introducing yourself briefly and asking Pamela how she is doing. You did a really nice job guiding your learner when you specifically said, "Right. But I think that would work better if the… This chunk was alone." when Pamela was confused how to figure out the length of the side of a triangle using the law of sines. Instead of telling her the answer straight up, you did a good job guiding her. Overall nice job on this section!

It was really cool getting to speak with you, Enzo! I like sharing ideas and other things with people, so it was a really fun experience. You also spoke kindly, respectfully, and made me comrotable answering all your questions. Good luck on you project, and looking forward to reading it!

I'm incredibly grateful to Enzo for his SAT tutoring. He has a real gift for breaking down complex problems with clear, relatable examples that make challenging concepts suddenly click. What I value most is his patience—he takes the time to guide me through each step, never rushing, until I truly understand the material. His support has transformed what felt overwhelming into something manageable, and I genuinely appreciate how he makes learning feel less daunting.Retry
