About

I’m a Florida highschool senior. I love to read and am a high-level swimmer and pianist. I also enjoy helping people out with their questions and have a lot of knowledge in many subjects. Both my SAT and ACT scores were above the 95th percentile and I have taken many AP classes throughout my highschool career and scored highly. I am ready to help any of my fellow student improve their SAT scores!

SAT Prep Study Group

    5th session

This will be a study group for people to study the SAT together and basically just keep each other accountable to study and make prepping more fun. I'll post classes whenever I can, and anyone is welcome to attend or not. We'll work on some practice questions together and focus on studying for the SAT overall. I don't have any specific lesson plans ready, just going to do practice questions of all sorts and maybe some review videos or resources. We can also do some study Kahoot or Blooket :)

Thank you so much for your help! I loved how we were able to go through questions that I would normally struggle with. This helped me understand how to approach those sort of problems.

You set a warm, encouraging tone from the start. You greeted learners by name, clarified pronunciation thoughtfully, and shared a bit about yourself. You invited learners to express how confident they felt about the topic and followed up with supportive feedback. Comments like “Even being at the middle level is great” helped boost confidence and normalize uncertainty. Your energy and humor (like saying “tech struggles, am I right?”) made the space feel relaxed and welcoming. You also made it clear that learners could always ask questions or revisit past material, which helped reinforce a low-pressure and collaborative environment.

You adapted well to real-time needs. When tech glitches popped up or someone mentioned not seeing the poll, you responded calmly and found quick workarounds. You also noticed when a question seemed tricky and gave extra time or explanation, as in the case of the Bolivar question or the transition question that confused some learners. You checked understanding regularly and adjusted your pace based on learner feedback. You were also flexible in your plan. Instead of rigidly following your slide deck, you let learners vote on whether they wanted to keep working on rhetorical synthesis or transitions. That choice helped make the session more tailored and responsive.

You consistently involved learners throughout the session. You asked learners to annotate or use the chat early on, invited responses during practice questions, and launched polls to get everyone participating. You called on people by name, responded warmly to their comments, and regularly asked for thumbs up or verbal confirmation before moving forward. You also gave learners flexibility, letting them choose whether you’d walk through the first question or have them try it on their own. This helped build agency and comfort. Overall, your session had an interactive, learner-centered atmosphere that kept people engaged the whole time.
