You kept pulling the learner back in with questions. That’s excellent, it made the session interactive and gave the learner space to process. The Kahoot quiz was also a fun addition. One area to refine: at times, when the student gave a partial or slightly confused answer, you could have refrained from providing the answer right away.

This is where you shine most. The student felt comfortable enough to go off into tangents about stargazing and aliens, that shows you created a safe, curious environment. You validated their responses often (“Yes, you’re right,” “Good point”), which boosted confidence. Keep this up, but also balance with concise wrap-ups so that discussions don’t drift too long and eat into teaching time.
