This dialogue series will alternate between discussions on racism and healthcare. In the racism sessions, we’ll reflect on questions like how to best combat racism at the community level and what approaches create real change. In the healthcare sessions, we’ll dive into questions about access, equity, and the role of governments versus individuals in shaping healthcare systems. Each meeting will center on open, respectful conversation where we share experiences, consider different perspectives, and think critically about how these issues affect our communities. Join a virtual Dialogue Club to form a community with students from around the world. Dialogue Clubs meet every other week to discuss a new topic. By participating in 3+ Dialogue sessions, you will get a Dialogues portfolio you can submit with your college applications to our university partners.

Each session will focus on a key AP Pre-Calculus topic, beginning with fundamentals and progressing to more advanced concepts. Over the summer, we’ll cover: Polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions Trigonometric and polar functions Modeling with functions in real-world contexts AP-style problem-solving and test strategies How You’ll Engage: I’ll lead each session, starting with a brief concept review of the previous lesson. I will then introduce the new material with guided examples and interactive practice exercises. My teaching style is flexible—feel free to interrupt if something doesn’t make sense, ask questions at any time, or tell me to slow down. I’m always open to adjusting my approach to what works best for you. At the end of each session, I’ll also ask about the topics you'd like to review further, so we can tailor the next session to your needs.

This course will cover the fundamental topics of SAT Math, such as Algebra, Problem Solving and Data Analysis, Advanced Math, and Geometry & Trigonometry. We will begin with a brief introductory session, in which I will assess each learner's background and needs. From there, I will find SAT problems to give/help you with, and I will do Bluebook Practice Tests with explanations as to why each answer is right or wrong. This summer AP Calculus series will run until the end of August and cover all major topics tested on the AP Calculus AB and BC exams. I earned a 5 on both exams and will guide you through the exact strategies, concepts, and problem-solving techniques that helped me succeed. Each session will move through multiple key topics from the AP curriculum, beginning with foundational concepts and progressing to more advanced material. Throughout the summer, we’ll cover: Limits and continuity Derivatives and their applications Integrals, differential equations, and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus Polar, Parametric, and Vector functions Series and sequences (BC only) AP-style multiple choice and free-response strategies We’ll move efficiently—covering several subtopics per session to make sure we complete the course by August. AB students will finish earlier, as the final BC topics (like sequences and series) are not part of the AB exam. How You’ll Engage: Each session will start with a brief review of the previous lesson, followed by a walkthrough of new concepts with guided examples and interactive practice problems. My teaching style is flexible and collaborative—feel free to interrupt, ask questions, or request a slower pace at any time. I’ll also check in regularly to hear which topics you’d like to revisit, so we can tailor our review to your goals.
