Best calculus tutor on the platform!

Great job coming in prepared; your slideshow and how you kicked off the session really set the tone. Using a slideshow is a clever way to outline your plan, well done! You also demonstrated strong understanding of the material by clearly explaining concepts and walking them through the problems.

I appreciate how patient and detailed Richard always is during our English sessions. He provides relevant feedback which better allows me to understand where my weak areas are with literature. Also, he is very patient and is willing to explain problems more than once for students who learn differently like me.

During the second session of the English SAT, I found my tutor's explainations very helpful and detailed as we were completing practice problems together as a class. Also, me and my peers were very interactive and were able to exchange a lot of meaningful ideas and reasonings with each other when solving each problem.

I like that it is interactive. We can explain how we approached an answer and the tutor can tell us whether our understanding is correct or can be improved. This helps learning

Great! You supported your student really well throughout the session. Right from the beginning, you set a positive and open tone by using icebreakers, turning your camera on, and sharing a slideshow. That mix created a space that felt both professional and inviting; exactly the kind of environment that helps students feel comfortable and ready to learn. Great job!

You were well-prepared and kept the session running smoothly, which helped everything stay on track. You showed a strong understanding of the material, like when you said, "Think of an algorithm like a recipe—it tells you step-by-step how to get to the solution." This made complex ideas, like algorithms, easier to understand. Using visuals like flowcharts and examples from everyday life, such as comparing traffic patterns to data flow, also helped explain things clearly. Great job!

I enjoyed this session for SAT English today because even though I experienced many difficulties with the practice exam and performed lower than usual, Richard's detailed explanations allowed me to better understand my weak areas in reading and writing such as annotating complex poems and other works of literature as well as context clues.

Thank you so much for this session! I learned many new things including absolute value, which let me know some things I should work on! Thanks, again!

Thanks for another math session. I like how you always asked if we understood and if not we could ask questions!
