Math for the August 2025 SAT®

Fridays 1:00 AM, Sundays 1:00 AM

Hi, my name is Richard, and I have already tutored 7 SAT bootcamps plus a lot of Calculus tutoring sessions, so I think I am pretty good at guiding people what to do on the SAT! This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Great job coming in prepared; your slideshow and how you kicked off the session really set the tone. Using a slideshow is a clever way to outline your plan, well done! You also demonstrated strong understanding of the material by clearly explaining concepts and walking them through the problems.

Great! You supported your student really well throughout the session. Right from the beginning, you set a positive and open tone by using icebreakers, turning your camera on, and sharing a slideshow. That mix created a space that felt both professional and inviting; exactly the kind of environment that helps students feel comfortable and ready to learn. Great job!

You were well-prepared and kept the session running smoothly, which helped everything stay on track. You showed a strong understanding of the material, like when you said, "Think of an algorithm like a recipe—it tells you step-by-step how to get to the solution." This made complex ideas, like algorithms, easier to understand. Using visuals like flowcharts and examples from everyday life, such as comparing traffic patterns to data flow, also helped explain things clearly. Great job!
