We’ll work through example problems step-by-step and practice applying key ideas to challenging exercises. Each lesson runs 60–90 minutes, covering one chapter per day for steady, in-depth progress through the textbook. In this series, we will explore key Pre-Algebra concepts including operations with integers, fractions, decimals, factors and multiples, exponents, ratios and proportions, equations, inequalities, linear systems, and an introduction to Functions. Learners will have the chance to ask questions, work through problems collaboratively, and get step-by-step support when concepts feel tricky. These sessions are interactive so be ready to learn how to solve problems on your own! By the end of the series, you will have a strong foundation to confidently move into Algebra 1 and beyond.

This Algebra I course offers a clear and structured approach to key concepts including equations, expressions, linear functions, and problem solving. Designed for students building a strong foundation or reinforcing prior knowledge, each session includes guided instruction and interactive practice. To follow along, bring a notebook, pencil, and a calculator if available.

Over the next few weeks, we will be going over one unit on Khan Academy's curriculum in Pre-Algebra. You will not need any prior knowledge on the subject as I'll be going over everything step by step to ensure you have a deep understanding of the content. It is recommended that you bring a paper and pencil to follow along. Most of our time will be going over practice problems so that we can get a further grasp of the material as the sessions progress but of course, I'll be there to guide you if you have any trouble.
