I think you did an excellent job when it came to developing connections with your learner. This is because your learner was able to master the content as you asked open-ended questions along the way to explore what they truly struggled with before they were able to correct it. You also allowed them to freely express their thoughts before developing a humanistic connection in believing your learner can improve their ability w the content. This as a result, created a comfortable learning environment, and a sense of community.

Your tone is approachable, and your back-and-forth feels very relaxed, which puts the student at ease. You acknowledge their answers and guide them without pressure. Joking a bit ("I'm just kidding") and keeping things low-pressure helps create a positive learning space.

Adwaith patiently went through the math problems and showed no frustration when I did not understand something. He was so positive which motivated me to keep going. I had such a great experience. I have used different platforms and this by far has been the best! He really made math understandable!
