Fantastic work here, keep it up! You maintained a kind and encouraging tone throughout the session. I also liked how patient you were, and how you always guided the learner back on track when they made mistakes. I also liked how you helped them understand why their answer was incorrect! This helps the learner develop a deeper understanding of the topic. You wrapped up the session with some more words of encouragement, and it looks like the learner was satisfied with what they had learned! Not only did you address how to procedurally solve the problem, but you taught the concepts required to solve other questions of a similar type. You were able to identify what each question was asking you to do and transfer the knowledge of what patterns you were able to see and show Ahmed how to see those patterns as well. For example, you used the question about ratios as an opportunity to teach Ahmed how to analyze word problems and think about them in an intuitive way. You are even able to pull up a graph that was able to illustrate a concept that you were going over, furthering his understanding of the concept in a visual way. This also served to help develop the intuition behind a word problem and be able to put it in terms of a relationship between two variables.
