I provide help for biology from the regular to the AP level. By signing up to this series, you will be able to schedule a 30min help session with me every week. If the number of learners requesting help per week reaches 5, I will shorten each individual session to 20min because of the increase in the total amount of time dedicated. Learners should propose a preferred meeting time at least 24hours before that time. Times that work for me are late afternoons and nights in EST time zone. Further negotiation might be needed if the learner's preferred time has a conflict with my schedule. I will try my best to stay near the preferred time. The scheduling of time follows the first-come-first-serve basis.

Interested in plants? This series will go through the basics of botany. Fundamental knowledge in biomolecules, cell organelles, cell respirations and photosynthesis, cell signaling, and genetics will be helpful prerequisites. I will still go over them, but in a quickly fashion, as the focus will be applying them to plants.

I will help with any AP Biology related questions. Equal time will be allotted to learners who show up before 5 minutes into the session. If the learner does not have a question, I can lecture on any AP Biology topic that the learner requests.

We will cover the main fields of biology ----biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, biosystematics, and plants & animal physiology/anatomy ---- in great depth with the assumption that learners have finished AP Biology & AP Chemistry. A sufficient understanding of the entire AP Biology and AP Chemistry curriculum is the key to get the most out of this series; however, anyone interested is welcomed!

We'll go over all concepts in the AP Biology syllabus and some in more depth to enable a better understanding. Learners are expected to not only listen to the lectures but also engage in problem solving. I scored a 5 on the AP Biology exam and top 500 on the United States Biology Olympiad.

I will assign videos from the Anatomy & Physiology series of the Crash Course YouTube channel. You will watch them before each session. During each session, I will answer questions, provide some practice problems, and dive even deeper into the topic explored in the videos (first year undergraduate level).

This series will go over AP Biology content in a relatively fast pace as a review for the up coming test on May and also provide more advanced knowledge that is not only interesting but also explains many concepts in AP Biology in a more detailed way. Participation in this course requires a current enrollment in AP Biology or a class of equivalent difficulty.
