In this series, we will go over ACT math problems and review them together. I will give you the important tips and tricks for solving problems quickly and effectively that helped me a 36 on the ACT math three times. And most important, I will be teaching you the SECRET calculator tricks to increase your score massively. I advise on bringing either a TI-84 CE or a TI-NSpire. I can teach both depending on what everybody has. The sessions will be separated by topics to clearly grasp each important section of the ACT. This series has 6 sessions. It is scheduled for students taking the ACT June 14.

Hi, my name is Youngwoo Kim; and in this series, we will go over the entire Algebra I course throughout the summer. Using the Khan Academy Algebra I course curriculum, I will host 15 sessions (1 unit on each session). Here is an overview of what we will cover on each session/unit: Unit 1 - Algebra Foundations Unit 2 - Solving Equations & Inequalities Unit 3 - Working with Units Unit 4 - Linear Equations & Graphs Unit 5 - Forms of Linear Equations Unit 6 - Systems of Equations Unit 7 - Inequalities (Systems & Graphs) Unit 8 - Functions Unit 9 - Sequences Unit 10 - Absolute Value & Piecewise Functions Unit 11 - Exponents & Radicals Unit 12 - Exponential Growth & Decay Unit 13 - Quadratics (Multiplying & Factoring) Unit 14 - Quadratic Functions & Equations Unit 15 - Irrational Numbers For anyone who misses any sessions, I will be recording our sessions, so you will be able to watch them (so don't sweat about not being able to make it to class, it's all good). Anyone who needs help on only specific parts of Algebra, you can show up on just the sessions you need. Typically, I will go over concepts first, then go over practice questions. I will also cover important calculator functions within Algebra as well. At the end, I will stay behind to answer any specific questions if you have any. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! In this course, you will learn the history of the entire world from when it first started to now. Obviously, I can’t cover every little detail nor do I know when the world even first started. However, in this series, I will cover the major events of life, and I will go with what is scientifically proven so far: just a bunch of theories. *NOTE* This will not be like the history classes you have in school. I will not make ANYONE take notes or memorize all the little details. I mean, if you want to then that’s just up to you. This will be more of an engaging and fun series. Together we will even make up our own theories to facts that are still unknown today (e.g. so when, how, why, where did the world first start?). When I say everything, I mean I will cover everything. So don’t ask questions about which time periods we will cover, it will be ALL of them. Starting from Earth first being made, to first ever microscopic organisms, to dinosaurs, to first ever humans, to BCE where civilization began, to Middle Ages, and finally up to now (where I like to call it the Screen Age since everyone’s on their phone now playing games or scrolling through instagram or whatever you look at on that tiny screen).
