I think you did a great job of affirming learner's explanations of their problem-solving experience. I noticed this in particular when Noel was struggling to explain what happens when you subtract a positive number from a negative number and you described it as becoming "a bigger negative." I felt like you changed the way you said things to make your learner understand better, and it really helped them understand.
