✨⚡Lightning Round Dialogue⚡✨

    Starts

Welcome to [Dialogues](https://schoolhouse.world/dialogues)! In this session, we will be discussing Lightning Round Topics and using this [discussion guide](https://schoolhouse.world/redirect?code=hWluMHrLq_0OsFhyYNSlj). Here’s some helpful information to help you prepare for your session: 📌 Session introduction: At the start of the session, the event host will provide some introductory remarks about how the session will work and tips for discussion. 🧩 Discussion partner matching: All participants will be matched with a conversation partner to discuss with. If there are uneven numbers, you may have two conversation partners. 🤝 Breakout discussions: After the session introduction, everyone will switch to their breakout discussion. Your discussion will be unmoderated, so you can start when your partner arrives in the new Zoom link. 🗺️ Discussion Guide: You will have a topic-specific discussion guide for the session to help guide conversation. ⏰ Session length: The breakout discussions are scheduled for 45 minutes but you can discuss as long as you want! ✅ Stay on topic: Please make sure to stay on topic. If you and your partner run out of things to discuss, it’s okay to end the discussion early. You will not be returning to the main group when your conversation is over. 🤔 Make the discussion your own: You probably won’t have time to answer all the guide questions so pick and choose! Feel free to also bring in your own questions and ideas outside of the guide. 📝 Survey: A mandatory survey will appear at the end of your session to fill out. This must be filled out for you to get credit for the session in your Dialogues portfolio. 🤸‍♂️ Have fun: There is no preparation needed for this event. These conversations are meant to be casual, in addition to being meaningful. We hope you enjoy it!

✨Dialogue Club ✨

    Saturdays 7:00 PM

Join a virtual Dialogue Club to form a community with students from around the world. Dialogue Clubs meet every other week to discuss a new topic. By participating in 3+ Dialogue sessions, you will get a Dialogues portfolio you can submit with your college applications to our university partners. In our unique Dialogue Club, members decide together to choose the next topic for discussion. At the end of each meeting, everyone can suggest topics they are interested in. Members can submit their ideas before the session. During the meeting, each person presents their topic briefly and explains why it is important. After all ideas are shared, the group votes on which topic to discuss next. This ensures everyone gets a chance to have their say. The chosen topic helps create interesting conversations in the following meeting. Whether it’s about a global issue, a cultural trend, or a big question, the aim is to inspire engaging discussions.
