When a learner joined slightly late, the tutor made sure to include them in the conversation by updating them on exactly what was going on, and invited them to ask questions if they also had any. They were also very understanding of learners different needs, even going back to the concept of what a sphere is. This was great in making all the learners feel comfortable and supported.
