Hi! I’m Richard (not Laufey unfortunately) and this will be my third group. I’m still getting used to teaching, but I have had good experiences so far (no unhelpfuls). I’m not really a tutor so much so as a proctor of discussions, since from experience I’ve found that people (and me as the tutor) find the sessions less stressful and generally more engaging. Occasionally, things might and do come up in my/your life, but I will try my best to text the chat and I guarantee 1 on 1 make up sessions if you/I miss a lesson. This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! I’m hoping to even the playing field a little bit, especially since I know that a lot of parents send their kids to tutoring camps and some people don’t get that privilege.
