Rena you did a wonderful job of explaining to the learner how to deal with question! You did so in a systematic way with logical steps to show how you would approach the problem. I loved how neatly you underlined important words and summarized important findings in the text. You gave the learner tips on how to approach a problem that requires you to analyze data and deduce necessary evidence from the data. You had mentioned the useful technique of getting acquainted with the axes of the graphs and learning what information is being displayed. This was a pretty unusual problem with a strange graph showing time flowing backward. It also became more seemingly complex with the inverse correlation between variables. However, you decomposed this complex problem into its simpler parts and explained it amazingly! Furthermore, you were very thorough in your explanation to the learner of college board's feedback on practice tests and you cohesively explained to the learn how to properly study for the SAT using Khan academy! You had gone beyond the scope of your live help session and even helped her outside the problem. Amazing job!

There was evidence that the learner was making progress throughout the session. You had first asked the learner to read the options and choose. She had first gotten it wrong. You then gave her another hint and a choice between two options after confirming that she understood why. She then got the correct answer! I love how you never gave answers. Your hint-giving definitely helps the learner learn more effectively!

Thank you for the session Rena! It helped me a lot with colons, I thought they were normally just used to list information, but now I know more that they add additional information and ideas. Looking forward to the next session :)

Thanks for all your help, Rena! You have helped shape me into a better scholar when it comes to reading, writing, English, and whatnot. God bless you for your commitment to the global community and to each individual! I will be confident if I ever have you as a tutor in the future that you will give me some insight or wisdom of help. Even in the four weeks that this bootcamp lasted, you made 10:15-midnight a BLAST! Just some words of encouragement. :>

- Thank you for continuously checking with the learner, asking her about her prior knowledge and her approach to the question. You promoted the learner's involvement by asking her to lead you through questions. When she got stuck or did not know how to approach something, you gave her hints and asked her to try again. You really nailed the concept of active learning by doing this! You had mentioned that inverse correlation is a keyword for this problem. You did a really good job by asking your learner to explain this term so you could confirm her prior knowledge. I also really appreciate how you asked your learner whether you could walk them through the problem your way. You subtly introduced the fact that there are many ways to approach this problem. - You continuously asked whether she understood what you said. Your continuous confirmation after explaining key parts of the problem was beneficial for the learner. - You asked your learner to choose the answer and you asked her explain why she crossed out some options. This was a good move as learners can understand problems better by explaining why something is wrong. - You asked her about her experience taking practice tests and checking her results. You checked her prior knowledge this way. You shared your own screen to show your dashboard on khan academy and college board to explain more thoroughly to the learner and show them how to navigate through these resources.

Great job tutoring this session, Rena! Your warm encouragement makes it much more enjoyable to cover the content of the bootcamp. I haven't got many suggestions for improvement aside from broadening your range of music XD, which is somewhat besides the topic.
