Hi Piyush, Linear Regression Model is an important concept to be taught as part of ML and you explained it very well to the learner. Also, your explanation how predictions are made and data is being used is a great info to share, May be in the upcoming sessions, I think it could be fun to do some small projects like heartattack detections using data. Great session!

Hi Piyush, this is a relative new topic and the details you explained used examples like how healthcare is using it and crime detection. DNA clustering is a gave a great example. Great work with examples!

You did a great job referring to the learner by name throughout the session! That really helped the learner feel more comfortable. At ~17:20, you did a great job catching the learner's mistake of giving the decimal 0.1 and mentioned why it was incorrect. You were able to tell the learner that they were incorrect without causing discouragement. When he got stuck, you also explained the correct answer skillfully.

You did a great job explaining, among other things, overfitting, the reasons we split data into training and testing data, and underfitti g+overfitting. The way you explained overfitting by talking about why we train machine learning models was an effective way to explain the concept. The analogy of the practice exam was also a good analogy.

The learner answered questions with more confidence. This shows that he made progress. He also was able to recall concepts from the lesson and apply them to the questions at the end. You also did a great job at the end framing the lesson in the bigger picture of ML and talking a bit about getting internships.
