Upon watching the session, the entire environment was extremely welcoming and warm. I really liked how the tutor kept the entire session very casual and talked to the learner in the role of a friend rather than an authoritative figure. The tutor also praised learners specifically, for example complementing a learner's voice and encouraged performance by stating that the produced works don't need to be perfect. This targeted encouragement helped learners feel seen and supported. To improve, maybe ending with a personalized “one thing you did well” and a micro-goal for next time for each participant would be helpful to continue to encourage growth from each learner.
