About

Hi, I’m Parishay Azer! I’m a senior in high school with a passion for math, programming, language, and using education as a force for positive change. I tutor in both math and French, and I love helping others break down challenging topics into simple, empowering steps—building confidence along the way.

I’m also the founder of EcoSync, a platform that uses AI to provide personalized tools for reducing your carbon footprint. EcoSync was named a national winner of the Girls Who Code AI + Sustainability Challenge, and I was honored as the Youngest Rising Star in AI by Women in AI for my work on the project.

In addition, I created Connect, an app and school club that bridges students with meaningful community service opportunities, especially in education access.

Beyond tech, I’m active in climate advocacy: this summer, I represented youth at LCOY USA 2025 in Miami, Florida, where I helped draft the U.S. National Youth Statement. This policy document will be presented to negotiators at COP 30 in Belém, Brazil, as part of the Global Youth Statement shaping the future of international climate action.

At Schoolhouse, I’m excited to continue supporting learners from all over the world—making education more inclusive, collaborative, and impactful. Let’s learn and grow together!

Conversations That Matter – Dialogue Club Summer 2025

Mondays 5:00 AM, Mondays 6:00 AM

Join our virtual Dialogue Club and connect with students from around the world in thoughtful, open-minded conversations that go beyond the classroom. Every other week, we’ll dive into meaningful topics that matter to us and our communities—like safe social media use, gun violence, immigration, income inequality, incarceration, climate change, and more. Whether you’re passionate about current events or just curious to hear new perspectives, this is a space where every voice counts. Plus, by participating in at least three sessions, you’ll earn a Dialogue Portfolio—an official record you can include in college applications to our university partners. Come share your ideas, listen deeply, and help shape a more thoughtful and connected world!

🤖 Artificial Intelligence (AI) Dialogue Session

    Starts

Welcome to [Dialogues](https://schoolhouse.world/dialogues)! In this session, we will be discussing Artificial Intelligence and using this discussion guide: [https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xT-S7-imIVqtPvjz7qhwdOBz8bSO44pz/view.](https://schoolhouse.world/redirect?code=ZzJZ_KrTZl4ZgDshQr-na) Here’s some helpful information to help you prepare for your session: 📌 Session introduction: At the start of the session, the event host will provide some introductory remarks about how the session will work and tips for discussion. 🧩 Discussion partner matching: All participants will be matched with a conversation partner to discuss with. If there are uneven numbers, you may have two conversation partners. 🤝 Breakout discussions: After the session introduction, everyone will switch to their breakout discussion. Your discussion will be unmoderated, so you can start when your partner arrives in the new Zoom link. 🗺️ Discussion Guide: You will have a topic-specific discussion guide for the session to help guide conversation. ⏰ Session length: The breakout discussions are scheduled for 45 minutes but you can discuss as long as you want! ✅ Stay on topic: Please make sure to stay on topic. If you and your partner run out of things to discuss, it’s okay to end the discussion early. You will not be returning to the main group when your conversation is over. 🤔 Make the discussion your own: You probably won’t have time to answer all the guide questions so pick and choose! Feel free to also bring in your own questions and ideas outside of the guide. 📝 Survey: A mandatory survey will appear at the end of your session to fill out. This must be filled out for you to get credit for the session in your Dialogues portfolio. 🤸‍♂️ Have fun: There is no preparation needed for this event. These conversations are meant to be casual, in addition to being meaningful. We hope you enjoy it!
