The tutor keeps the learner very engaged as most of the time it is the learner who is working through most of the problems herself and is finding the solutions for him to confirm she did it correctly. Palaash encouraged the learner to explain her thinking as she was the one that was doing the problems and explained them as she went. If needed, Palaash also asked questions asking her to explain why she thought that way.

I think you did a great job here creating a comfortable learning environment. This is because you helped strengthen your learner's ability with guiding them step by step along with making sure they grasped the concept through testing them with a similar problem. You also maintained the right tone and attitude throughout, being respectful to your learners, which you should continue to do in future sessions you tutor.
