Arti was thoroughly involved throughout the entire session. You ran things sort of like a conversation, especially during the time when you were communicating with the chat. You asked tons of questions to help Arti engage. This is great because it gave Arti the chance to practice what you're going over and commit things to memory while also helping you make sure that she actually understands how to do it. This lets you catch any misunderstandings early on.

The learner was very engaged because the tutor incessantly asked him to go further, explain, and attempt.

You were patient, thoughtful, and great! You didn't rush Arya but rather resolved her confusion and allowed her to express uncertainty. Also, you offered many solution paths to help learners with the process. Great job!

Nauta continually asked questions to his learners, ensuring that they could visualize what was in store for the rest of the series. While his students had technical issues, they still tried to communicate as much as they could. Nauta had a little activity/game to do with his students, and they were actively engaged as a result. As for the "Encouraged learners to explain their thinking", as I said before, this was a "getting to know learners" kind of session, so there wasn't a way for me to assess that (hence, the N/A under that section). I could've missed some details within the lesson, so if I did, please let me know (yes, I am talking to you, Nauta). :)

You do a great job making her feel comfortable and supported! Whenever she feel confused and apologizes, you reassure her that it is okay and you move on to approaching the problem! Additionally, you leave room for her to ask questions which allows her to express her confidence in the subject. You allow her to converse with you instead of just talking to her which I think indicates that this is a comfortable learning environment. Your reassurance and encouragement allows your student to make mistakes and learn from them confidently!

You did an excellent job with your explanations, visuals, and examples. I really liked how you explained the definitions clearly, especially with the conversion factors, and how you provided examples first without directly giving away the answer. You were well prepared with the stylus and had the question already written on the whiteboard, which made the session smooth and easy to follow. Overall, you did a great job, and I wouldn’t suggest any changes.

Great job working through your mic problems (or just not being able to use it) by communicating with the chat! It's great that you shared your screen with a whiteboard because having visuals like that can be really helpful for learners to follow along and understand better. You clearly had a good understanding of the content and you gave some really good explanations. It definitely seemed helpful since Arti ended up marking her problem as solved!

This is the best thing! The session was conversational and responsive between the tutor and the learner, which is incredible. This not only means you created a comfortable environment but also impacted Arya's learning. I wish you the best!!!
