Preparing a playlist in advance was a great idea! Like you mentioned, not everyone prefers listening to music while studying, so having that option available gave learners the freedom to choose what works best for them. I also really liked that you used a visual to communicate instructions in case someone arrived late or didn’t catch what you said at the beginning. That was a thoughtful touch—it saved you time and helped avoid any potentially awkward moments for learners.

At the beginning, I really appreciated how you checked in with everyone about whether they wanted to do a Pomodoro study session. That made the environment feel collaborative right from the start. When it became a 1-1 situation, you handled it really well by asking the learner if they were comfortable starting without it. You clearly made an effort to ensure everyone was included in the decision, which shows a lot of consideration and awareness.
