Public Forum is a prepared debate style prevalent in the US and China. With the expertise of our PF coaches, you will learn how to debate in the PF format, how to cut cards, and more. These skills are highly applicable to any research or policy work. We highly encourage everyone to sign up for this course as it gives students a much stronger content base on global issues ranging from economics to international relations and more through application of rebuttal and impacting. This is a fun, real-life Spanish series built for English speakers who want to actually understand and speak the language. From basic greetings to full conversations, every lesson focuses on survival Spanish, confidence, and culture. Perfect for students, travelers, and anyone who wants to stop translating in their head and start communicating for real.

Each week, we'll immerse ourselves into a different culture of the world--one that either belongs to a tutor or learner who is participating in the series. We will be sharing fun facts about our country and culture along with what we love most about it!

We will go over each student's needs according to math

We will study the topics of Algebra 2 based on Khan Academy

In the community hall, we will introduce ourselves as the SHW Tutors Union before opening up the session to the tutors and learners attending to hear thoughts and feedback on the specified topic.

We will take the time to thoroughly discuss and evaluate the various needs of the students. This will allow us to gain a deeper understanding of their individual challenges, strengths, and areas where they require additional support. It’s important that we create an environment that caters to their specific learning styles and personal circumstances, ensuring that each student feels valued and empowered to succeed. Let's make sure we address all aspects of their development, from academic needs to social and emotional support.

This 10-session course strengthens mathematical reasoning through progressively challenging topics. Students will develop proficiency in integers, equations, inequalities, ratios, exponents, and graphing. The program builds a strong foundation for Algebra I by emphasizing problem-solving, logical thinking, and real-world application of concepts.

Each week we will have two sessions and have a mini bootcamp based on Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1

We will go over the topics she needs help with, and I’ll make sure to guide her step by step until she feels confident about them

We’ll be reviewing Algebra and Spanish in depth, making sure they fully understand the key concepts. We’ll go over any areas they struggle with, take extra time to explain each topic clearly, and practice together until all of us feel confident.
