I will be attending Georgia Tech in the Fall as an Aerospace Engineer and I have been through the admissiosn process twice so I've learned a lot that I want to pass on to you all! This College Admissions Workshop on The Essay is a virtual 4-week workshop designed to provide you with structure and support to write your college essays this summer. In this workshop, you will: - Learn the purpose and the must-dos of the personal statement - Learn and practice strategies for picking a prompt, brainstorming, drafting, and revising your writing - Understand the role of supplemental questions and strategies for organizing your questions and responses - Work alongside other students who are also preparing to apply to college.

I took/am taking a gap year so I actually went through the admissions process twice! I've been accepted to a number of prestigious universities, and now I want to pass everything I've learned on to you guys. I will talk you through building a successful college resume, give recommendations on projects and extracurriculars, explain how to build a college list that you're happy with, and go over about the application itself.
