About

Hi there! My name is Leif and I'm excited to help you with anything SAT, math, or science-related! I'm a high school senior from Oregon with quite a bit of tutoring experience---both in my community and on Schoolhouse---and I also enjoy peer reviewing and especially hosting SAT BC Onboarding Sessions.

At school, I participate in cross country and track, Science Bowl, and Model UN, and play the clarinet and tenor sax in the jazz band. My favorite subject is math (calculus-related is best), but I also like studying physics, biology, english, and mandarin Chinese.

In my free time, I love to go on runs, read long books (my favorite is Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts), cook/bake, and do portrait photography. In the great outdoors, I enjoy skiing, scuba diving, waterskiing, hiking, and traveling with family.

The tutor, Leif, did a great job developing connections with the learners! Leif was very friendly, respectful, and positive to every learner, which is amazing. This helped strengthen the learners' confidence to where they don't need to feel shy or scared to speak up and ask questions. The environment was filled with respect and positivity.
