About

I am a high school student from Colorado and I am here to help in Math (especially pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and algebra 2) and all things SAT. I love animals and in my free time I like to run, hike, lift weights, practice jiu jitsu & wrestling, read, travel, and ... help people!

Math for the November 2025 SAT

Thursdays 12:30 AM, Saturdays 3:00 PM

Hey, I'm James! I'm excited and ready to help you crush the SAT Math section! This four-week tutoring series will help you epare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Learned a LOT

Learner · 8 days ago

He had loads of prepared materials and advice, as well as showing a mastery of the material. The slides had prepared problems and he had clearly reviewed all of them.

Hi James! You did an awesome job with this domain-- I know this is a tricky one to keep people engaged (it might've helped that there was just one learner lol). I'd just make sure that when a learner asks a question, or even if they get something wrong, try to let them start the discussion. One way I do this is by starting with "how did you attack this problem" rather than going for it myself. I mostly noticed that when you were going over the practice test. Then, something kinda magical happens-- when they talk it out, they usually find their mistake, which helps you do less talking :)
