Hello! I tutored a R&W Bootcamp for the December SAT, and I am now tutoring math as well separately! One of my favorite parts of tutoring on Schoolhouse is getting to know different learners and making them feel comfortable with asking questions. I am equally excited to get to know other tutors as well! This will be my second Onboarding Session. Join this Onboarding Session required for Tutors participating in their first SAT Bootcamp! You’ll go over useful tutoring skills and have the chance to meet other Bootcamp tutors like you.

Prep books are EXPENSIVE and it might seem impossible to know where to start self-studying. So I will be covering 5 things in this session: 1. How to create a study plan 2. Using free resources 3. Studying strategically 4. Test-taking tips 5. Q&A Using the tips I will be mentioning in this session, I managed to bag the score I wanted in August; I hope these will help you also achieve a score you will be happy with! Even if you've just started studying or you've taken the SAT before, feel free to join this session :)

Before each session, please message me with any specific topics/questions you are confused about(if possible) or just bring them with you! I will go over any common questions at the beginning and help with other questions near the end. So feel free to join if you're interested in a loosely structured study group! Make sure to bring whatever you can write on, and a TI-84 might be useful for a lot of problems!

Each week, we will go over 1 unit of the Khan Academy modules. Week 1: Polynomial arithmetic Week 2: Complex numbers Week 3: Polynomial factorization(might combine with division) (the schedule might change based on my own school schedule and finals week) If needed, I will be open to altering some weeks to spend time on individual questions if they relate to a topic we have already covered. Also, if most of the learners are confident in a unit, we might go over that quickly and cover the next unit in one session. Depending on my schedule, I will have office hours as well :)
